Flowers have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Some of my earliest memories are of gathering flowers as a five-year-old and placing them in an old jar for my mother. That simple act of love became a lifelong tradition—and the beginning of a journey that would shape my creative life.

My professional path in the floral industry began in my teenage years in my hometown of South Louisiana, where my first job introduced me to processing flowers. It was there, over fifty years ago, that I began learning not only how flowers are handled, but how they are understood—how they respond to care, balance, texture, and intention. My love for flowers has only deepened over time, and the passion I felt then remains just as strong today.

Patti and I have been fortunate to live and work in many places throughout the years, often collaborating with local florists wherever we landed. From Louisiana, Texas, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Rhode Island, we absorbed the regional cultures, styles, and techniques of the talented designers we worked alongside. Our personal approach to floral design is a culmination of a lifetime of learning—from the men and women of this industry, as well as from numerous professional workshops led by some of the most respected designers in the field.

Whether creating for a formal event or a small, intimate gathering, our goal has always been the same: to design florals that feel thoughtful, natural, and uniquely personal. Flowers should never feel generic. They should reflect the people, the moment, and the emotion behind them.

From Flowers to Fragrance

After decades of working with flowers, fragrance became a natural extension of our creative life.

Flowers are fleeting. Their beauty lives for a moment, but their scent has the power to linger—transporting us to places we love and memories we hold close. Our luxury soy candles were born from the desire to preserve that experience beyond the vase.

Each fragrance we create is inspired by a lifetime spent in flower shops, gardens, and studios. The quiet of early mornings processing fresh stems. Green leaves and herbs crushed between your fingers. The familiar, comforting aroma that fills a floral studio at the height of the season.

Our original fragrances are not trend-driven. They are layered, balanced, and intentional—designed the same way we approach floral arrangements. From the simple elegance of a rose to the exotic presence of a luxurious orchid, each scent is crafted to feel authentic and timeless.

Many of our candles capture what we love most about a flower shop itself: the blend of flowers, plants, greenery, and herbs that feels alive, welcoming, and deeply comforting. These are fragrances meant to be lived with—softly filling a space rather than overpowering it.
